How to avoid firing the exception - DllNotFoundException

Oct 16, 2013 at 5:02 PM
When I run "Tutorial", the exception "DllNotFoundException" always occurs, the error message is "No valid libvlc.dll could be found; VLC is probably not installed!" , how to install VLC?
Thanks a lot.

Find your VLC installation directory and copy libvlc.dll, libvlccore.dll and the plugins folder to the root of your executable.

Thanks for your reply. Now the exception does not occur, but when I ran "TestPresentation", a new issue appeared. On clicking button "Open Media Element Window..." on screen "MainWindow", the application ended without any exception or information.
I debugged it and found out the application always ended after the below code was called.

string version = m_libvlc_get_version();
in line 155 of file LibVLCLibrary.cs of project "LibVLC.NET"

I wonder if I describe clear, if yes, could you please tell me how to resolve the problem ?
Thanks a lot again.

Just comment out throwing Exception when version is not 1.9 :)
